POSITION DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Part-time Massage Therapist

Department: Massage

Reports to: Amy Blumenthal

FLSA Status: Non exempt

Date: 3/2023

Job Overview: The Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan is seeking part-time Massage Therapists. Must be NY State licensed and have knowledge of numerous modalities. We are looking for individuals interested in working in a community center environment with a wide range of clients. Responsibilities and Duties:

• Performing, 25, 55, and 85 minute massage sessions ranging from Swedish, deep tissue, sports, prenatal.
• Creating individual treatment plans for clients
• Cleaning the massage room between massage sessions and at the end of each shift

Qualifications:

• New York State massage therapy license
• Ability to generate new business and retain clients
• In depth understanding of anatomy and movement
• Computer savvy
• Good communication and positive energy
• Stand, sit, push, pull

Hourly Range: $44-$50
