Job Title: Camp Human Resources Coordinator
Department: Camp & Human Resources
Reports to: Deputy Director of Children and Families & Human Resources Director
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Date: February 2023
Job Overview: Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan seeks a part-time coordinator to manage the onboarding of camp staff for our summer programs. This person will be responsible for administrative tasks, entering details into our database, and connecting with camp staff about their paperwork.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Work collaboratively with HR and Camp teams
- Assisting new counselors with completing onboarding paperwork according to New York State I-9 requirements and other Labor law requirements
- Effective communication skills as the job entails consistent and continued follow-up with camp staff and their guardians on paperwork
- Trustworthy and comfortable with sensitive data, which includes compensation
- HRIS understanding preferred
Qualifications:
- Enthusiastic and positive attitude
- Data Entry
- Attention to detail; follow-up
- Comfortable with technology/HRIS systems/learning new systems in a short time
- Troubleshooting
- Fast-paced environment
- Good communication and written skills
Rate: $20-25/hour commensurate with experience
Location and Commitments: On-site at MMJCCM, M-Th, 6 hours a day
